Graphene is an allotrope of carbon whose structure is a single planar sheet of sp2 bonded carbon atoms that are densely in a honeycomb crystal lattice. Graphene Nanoplatelets are reduced graphene layers. Some of the characteristics of graphene: High strength, hydrophobic, hard as diamond, flexible, bio compatible, anti-corrosion, UV protection, anti-bacterial. The field of applications is wide and includes also coatings (metal / wood), adhesives, lubrications and much more.
