Job description & responsibilities
As the Industry Manager for Equipment, you will be the primary point of contact for customers. Your role encompasses making crucial commercial decisions while utilizing your technical expertise in the equipment for mixing, blending of liquid and powders, particularly in production, pilot, and laboratory areas. Your responsibilities include:
- Assessing customer needs and providing tailored technical solutions in equipment applications.
- Making informed commercial decisions based on a deep understanding of the equipment used in production, pilot, and laboratory settings.
- Extensive travel throughout Belgium and Luxemburg to nurture existing customer relationships and develop new business opportunities.
- Collaboration with dedicated principals to receive technical training and support for driving business growth.
- Acting as an intermediary between producers of processing equipment and customers engaged in production activities.
- Monitoring market developments.
Requirements
- You have excellent relationship skills and a collaborative team spirit.
- You know how to maintain a close relationship with your customers.
- You have a commercial attitude with strong communication skills.
- You have knowledge of CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
- You have good knowledge of Dutch, English and French.
- You have a technical Bachelor’s degree/level.
- You are eager to visit customers
- You have several years of experience in a commercial role, preferably in an international environment.
- You have relevant technical knowledge in equipment for mixing, blending of liquid and powders in production, pilot, and laboratory settings.
