We are a leading distributor of chemical specialties with offices across Europe. As a key partner to both chemical raw material manufacturers and the broader chemical industry, we operate across multiple sectors, including Personal Care, Food, Plastics, Coatings, Adhesives and Sealants.
Due to our continued growth, we are looking to strengthen our team in Brussels with a driven and commercially minded professional.
Your Role
Reporting directly to the Sales Director, you will be responsible for driving business growth within our Food across Belgium and surrounding markets.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Expanding and developing the existing client portfolio
- Managing and strengthening relationships with our represented partners and suppliers
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
- Providing both technical and commercial solutions tailored to customer needs
- Negotiating and successfully closing deals in a competitive market
- Maintaining close collaboration with internal teams to ensure excellent service delivery
What are we looking for?
We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented professional with:
- A relevant educational background (e.g. Chemistry, Pharmacy, or similar)
- Proven commercial experience within the chemical sector
- Strong knowledge of raw materials for the food industry
- Excellent communication skills in French or Dutch and English
- Willingness to travel as required within the region
- Strong negotiation, influencing, and deal-closing skills
- A proactive mindset with a clear focus on business development and growth
