Nature’s own fire retardant
UltraCarb is a halogen free fire retardant produced from our own natural deposits containing two minerals: hydromagnesite and huntite.
Depending on the application, Ultracarb is available in various particle size as well as with different finishes.
UltraCarb has a unique 3-stage fire retardant mechanism. It is used in a wide range of polymers such as polyethylene, polypropylene and PVC.
Beside this extraordinary flame retardant effect, UltraCarb helps to reduce the CO2 Emission during production. This is proven by a life cycle analysis, done by Pricewaterhouse Cooper.
